This policy covers the northcell.app website — the pages you are reading now. Each of our Android apps has its own, separate policy: Kakuro, Nonogram, EMI Calculator and Kundli & Panchang.
Who we are
This site is run by Northcell, a brand of Upamana Labs, a registered business in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India ("we", "us"). For anything in this policy, write to hello@northcell.app.
What this site collects
As little as a website can. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, no comment boxes and no newsletter — nothing on this site asks you to type anything. We run no analytics service of our own, so we do not build profiles of visitors or track you across other sites.
- Hosting logs. The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks — your IP address, the pages requested, and browser information. Cloudflare processes this under its own privacy policy; we see only aggregate counts (such as how many people visited), never a profile of you.
- Email. If you write to us, we receive what you send — your address and your message — and use it only to reply and to fix whatever you reported. We don't add you to any list.
Cookies and advertising
This site itself sets no cookies for its own purposes — no preference cookies, no analytics cookies.
We have applied to show ads on this site through Google AdSense. If and when ads appear here, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons) to serve and measure ads, which can include personalising them based on your visits to this and other websites:
- Google's use of advertising cookies is described in Google's advertising technologies policy, and its handling of data in Google's Privacy Policy.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising from Google at Google Ads Settings, and from many other providers at www.aboutads.info/choices.
- Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the UK), a consent message will ask for your choice before any advertising cookies are set, and you will be able to change that choice at any time.
Until ads go live, no advertising cookies are set by this site.
What we never do
- We do not sell, rent or trade personal information — from this site or from our apps.
- We do not run trackers from social networks or data brokers.
- We do not try to identify individual visitors.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data — such as access, correction or erasure — under laws including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the EU/UK GDPR. Because we hold almost nothing, most requests are short work: write to hello@northcell.app and we will respond. For data processed by Google or Cloudflare, their policies linked above explain the controls they offer directly.
Children
This website is a catalogue of apps and a set of reference guides; it is not directed at children, and it collects no personal data from anyone beyond the technical data described above.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above will change. The current version is always at this address.
